Once gathered, these Modalos reveal the adventure of Kiddo, a curious soul who ate so much sugar he transformed into ice cream.

One day, the fate of Kiddo took a sharp turn when he met the crystaline gaze of a mermaid-butterfly...

As he tried to follow her, he was drawn into a strange world inhabited by 64 Guardians (modalos), each carrying a precious drop of knowledge.

How it all begun

In the summer of 2023, as I prepared to leave for an extended stay abroad, I hand-drew a set of small cards, each inspired by quotes I loved, and gave them to my girlfriend the day I left. The number of cards matched the days we’d be apart, so she could draw one each day until we were reunited.

When I returned, I shared the cards with my friends—and they loved them. Their enthusiasm encouraged me to take this project a bit further: I began digitizing the drawings with Illustrator and imagining a world and a story around them. That’s how the adventure of the Ice Kid was born.
