How it Begun

In the summer 2023, I was living with my girlfriend and I was about to leave for an extended period abroad. To make her not forget me, I hand-drew a set of small cards, each inspired by quotes I loved, and gave them to her the day I left. The number of cards matched the number of days we’d be apart, so she could draw one each day until we were reunited.

One day, I showed those cards to my friends, and they seemed to really like them. Their enthusiasm gave me the push to take the project further. I began digitizing my drawings with Illustrator and imagining a world, a story, and a game around those cards — and that’s how the adventure of the Ice Kid was born.
